It's the late 1990's and I've not been writing songs for long. I've got an 8-track, a guitar or two and a ragtag assortment of bells and whistles that pass for instruments; why not put together a collection of songs? Better still, why not get distracted by a myriad other musical projects and eventually put them out more than 20 years later? Bingo! Yes, that's the ticket!

So here it is, the first volume in a compendium of lost songs. Presented here in near chronological order. They've all been dusted off somewhat. I've added percussion and some colour to a few, completely re-recorded a couple and barely touched the rest. Let's not shine too much light upon magic though; wipe the dust from the ripped leather bound sleeve, turn to page one and press play....
